What I enjoy most about dentistry is the people. A single visit can open the door to someone’s story, and I’ve found that listening first is the best way to provide care that truly matters. Patients often teach me as much as I help them, and that exchange is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Outside of Sopris, I thrive on music, mountains, and movement—whether it’s catching a show at Red Rocks, skiing in the winter, or walking the quiet fairways on a golf course. I especially love playing solo rounds; there’s something grounding about the rhythm of the game and the calm between shots.

The perspective I try to carry through life is simple: don’t take things too seriously. Life is fragile, so I remind myself to enjoy the good, learn from the hard, and always keep moving forward.

At Sopris, that same balance carries over. Our team feels like family—we support each other, laugh often, and stay professional where it matters. That blend makes the work both meaningful and fun, and I think patients can feel it too.

I’m a proud Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. Family is everything to me, and some of my greatest joys come from spending time with my children and grandchildren—I’m so grateful for them.
I try to live each day by the Golden Rule, and that’s something I carry with me in and outside of the office. Whether you catch me grocery shopping or even on a cruise (yes, I’ve bumped into patients in both places!), I love connecting with people wherever I go.

One of my favorite parts of dentistry is getting to know our patients and helping them feel comfortable and welcomed in the practice. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to form so many wonderful friendships.

I’m a true Colorado girl at heart—just as comfortable in my hiking boots as I am dressed up for a fancy dinner. I like to think of it as a little “mountain chic” balance.
Some of my simple joys include savoring a nice glass of red wine and making time for the things that keep me grounded, like working out. In fact, I’ve bumped into more than a few patients at the gym!
One piece of advice I always carry with me is: You can’t please them all, but give it your best always. That mindset guides me not only in my personal life but also in the way I care for patients.

What I love most about dentistry is getting to know the people who walk through our doors. Building those connections and being part of their care journey makes my work truly rewarding.

I’ve been a dental hygienist for 17 years, and what I’ve learned is that the little things matter most—whether it’s helping someone feel comfortable in the chair, celebrating their healthiest smile, or just sharing a laugh. I love getting to know my patients as people first, because when we understand what’s most important to them, we can make dentistry truly personal.

Outside the office, life is busy and full—hauling kids around, tackling grocery runs, or sneaking in time outdoors (my happy place). And if I get a moment just for myself? You’ll probably find me enjoying dark chocolate… sometimes even as a whole meal.

Working at Sopris feels special because our team is united in the same goal: making things great for our patients. Dr. Golnaz is one of the rare dentists who blends the latest technology with a thoughtful, conservative approach, and she’s surrounded herself with a team that cares deeply. After nearly two decades in this field, I know how lucky I am to be part of this practice.

One piece of advice I try to live by is simple: focus on what makes you happy and let go of what doesn’t. Life’s too short to get caught up in the small stuff. When I’m not at the office, you’ll probably find me spending time outdoors with my family or sneaking in an extra workout.

Hi, I’m Jazmin! One of my favorite things about living in Colorado is getting to experience the energy of a live sporting event—I’ll never turn down the chance to cheer from the stands. When I’m not at a game, I find joy in the quieter moments: starting my mornings with an iced matcha, taking a walk with my Frenchie, Louie, and unwinding with some football on in the background.

I try to live by a simple piece of advice: treat people the way you’d want your loved ones to be treated. It guides me not only in my personal life but also in the way I connect with patients. My favorite part of working in dentistry is helping people feel at ease in the chair and leaving with more confidence in their smile.

Outside of the office, you’ll often find me exploring new restaurants and coffee shops around town or spending quality time with my family. What I love most about Sopris Smiles is how supportive and uplifting our team is—it truly feels like a second family. I’m a Colorado native through and through. While I might complain when summer feels too hot or winter too cold, I absolutely love the sunshine—and I’ll admit, I take it a little personally when the clouds roll in. Outside the office, life is full of adventures with my kids, my amazing boyfriend, and our pup, Louie. Some of my favorite moments are the simplest ones, like sitting down to a home-cooked meal with my family—no distractions, just good food and the best company.

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve carried with me is to embrace the present. Life can get busy and unpredictable, but taking time to pause, find joy, and be grateful for the people around me is something I try to live by.

In my work, I feel lucky every day to connect with patients. A smile is one of our greatest assets, and I love helping people understand how oral health ties to overall well-being. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone gain confidence through their smile.
