Ok, we get it, going to the dentist is no one's idea of a good time. We've been there too! The clinical environment, the scary-looking medical tools, the unapproachable staff. Getting dental work can already be stressful enough, last thing you need is to be uncomfortable in the office.
But who said it had to be that way?
Welcome to Sopris Smile! We won't lie to you and tell you you'll feel like home here, this is a dental office after all. But thanks to our warm, friendly, and skilled staff, you'll experience a level of comfort and stress-free environment that will remind you of visiting your favorite cousin perhaps. You know, the fun older one who let you drive their car and covered for you when you were out late.
Here's the amazing team that will make feel like you are almost at home:
When people meet Dr. Golnaz during their initial visit, they are immediately at ease thanks to her friendly demeanor and inviting smile. Dr. Golnaz believes that achieving your smile goals starts with a strong patient-dentist relationship. That's why she emphasizes bedside manner and takes great care in making you feel comfortable. After all, you both have the same goal - a beautiful and healthy smile!
She believes that collaborating and listening to her patients is the key to finding the solutions they need. At Sopris Smiles, she has created the ideal dental environment, one designed to give every patient the same treatment she would give to her own family.
Growing up with a mother who owned her own small business gave Dr. Golnaz a profound appreciation for the hard work and dedication it takes to run a successful business. This experience also taught her the value of treating people with kindness and how to interact with her patients at a human level.
Originally considering social work, she pivoted to dentistry because of her desire to give back to her community and develop long-lasting relationships with her patients.
When thinking about the most rewarding aspect of heading her own dental practice, Dr. Golnaz says: "The sense of pride that comes along with building a place in a community where people respect you and trust you with their care captivated me."
Dr. Golnaz was born and raised in the Bay Area in Northern California, but after one trip to Colorado, she knew it was the place for her and decided to relocate shortly after her undergraduate studies.
She then attended Dental School in sunny Florida at LECOM School of Dental Medicine. To this day, she continues to expand her knowledge and has completed over 100 hours of continuing education thus far.
Dr. Golnaz is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, the Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Jeniffer got into the administration side of dentistry in 2015 and immediately fell in love with the job. She enjoys interacting with people daily and loves to see patients leave happy with their beautiful smiles.
She finds it rewarding to assist patients with insurance and help them understand their estimates for treatment plans. Jeniffer is always looking for new ways to provide an excellent dental experience to our patients from her front desk position.
Outside of work, she's a very adventurous person who loves to travel and get in touch with nature. If she's not at the office helping patients, you can find her spending time outdoors.
Lindsey was born and raised in Colorado. She attended school at Concorde Career College for dental assisting in 2017. That's where her passion for interacting with patients began.
She often enjoys changing the stigma on dentistry and making people feel comfortable in any circumstance at the office. When she's not taking care of patients you can usually find her working out or hanging out with her boyfriend and her dog Odin.
Amy has recently moved to Colorado and is so excited to join the Sopris Smiles practice.
